How a forest week works

Ten calm minutes a day. Every week, your child meets the same gentle rhythm with their Forest Buddy beside them.

1 · Oliver's lesson

Oliver the Owl teaches the week's idea — the rule, the why, and a worked example — in a warm, read-aloud voice.

2 · The worksheet

Story-led or plain — both included. Clear instructions, a worked example, and real forest pictures to count and work with.

3 · The song

A paired forest song to make the maths stick — hum it on the school run.

4 · The game

A handful of quick, verified questions — every answer checked before it's ever asked.

5 · Earn a key, unlock a story

Finish the week and the Buddy earns a key — a new story opens in Oliver's Treehouse Library, kept forever.

Two ways, every week

Story-led

Learn through the tale, for the days they want a story.

Plain

Straight practice, for the days they just want to get it done.

Checked before it's taught

Every maths fact is verified by a deterministic engine before a child sees it, and the human-authored learning is reviewed by a UK teacher-trainer. That's the whole point: maths you don't have to second-guess.
